Counseling

The goal of the  counseling department at Benito Juarez is to provide students with a comprehensive counseling program that supports students with their academic, career preparation, college planning pathways, and to attend to students personal/social needs. As professional counselors we strive for each student to live a lifestyle of healthy decisions; to reach an optimal potential and become confident, passionate, lifelong learners.

Our Mission

The mission of the Benito Juarez Community Academy Counseling Program is to provide dynamic student centered initiatives focused on understanding the individual needs of each student that provides equity and access for all services.  Students are viewed as unique individuals and the counseling staff are passionate about preparing them for their developmental personal, and collective growth. Through a comprehensive counseling program that attends to the personal/social, academic, and career preparation/college planning needs,  students will be prepared to compete globally in their post-secondary endeavors. The school counseling staff strive to meet the needs of all students by working collaboratively with other staff, educators, administrators, parents, and community advocates. We encourage students to become independent, progressive lifelong learners and nurture their social and emotional well-being while modeling positive relations among student, staff, parents and the community.
