We are proud to offer Dual Credit (DC) courses in partnership with Richard Daley College, one of the City Colleges of Chicago, and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dual Credit courses are college credit classes for juniors and seniors, taught as part of the normal high school schedule. Students who successfully complete our Dual Credit courses receive both college and high school credit for their work.
Our college partners are members of the Illinois Articulation Agreement, which helps guarantee that credit earned in our Dual Credit courses will transfer to a wide range of colleges and Universities.
Eligibility
Students must be a least a junior or senior in high school by the time they start a Dual Credit or Dual Enrollment class.
Eligible students must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and 90% or higher attendance.
Sophomores, start planning during Spring for your junior year!
Most courses require that students be college-ready as demonstrated by the ACT, SAT, or the CCC Placement Test.
Please contact Ms. Rantisi at fefinorantisi@cps.edu for more information about placement testing.
